MATTHEW RENERT ESQ.

Matthew Renert joined the Board of the White Plains Bar Association in 2005. He has worked as a staff attorney for the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District in White Plains, New York, since 1995, serving at the direction of its Chief Counsel (and past WPBA President), Gary L. Casella. In that capacity, he investigates complaints of ethical and professional misconduct by attorneys and, in necessary cases, prosecutes disciplinary proceedings and the related appellate proceedings. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1994 and his B.A. in History from Cornell University in 1991. He regularly lectures on ethical issues and the attorney disciplinary process for Continuing Legal Education seminars. Currently, he resides in White Plains with his wife, Patricia.
