SYMA B. FUNT ESQ.

Ms. Funt is a Senior Assistant County Attorney in the Litigation Bureau
of the office of the Westchester County Attorney, where she has worked
since 1993. She has handled all phases of civil litigation and conducted
jury trials pertaining to personal injury, intentional torts, civil and
constitutional rights, construction and employment discrimination claims
and lawsuits filed in federal and state court. In June of 1997, Ms. Funt
was selected by the former Westchester County Executive to attend the
John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, for an
intensive three-week program for executives from state and local
governments around the world.

In addition to the WPBA, Ms. Funt is a member of the New York State Bar
Association and the Westchester County Bar Association. She is also a
Major in the New York State Guard and, as an Assistant Staff Judge
Advocate, she has provided legal assistance to our troops throughout the
State during their mobilization after 9/11 and has performed State
Active Duty in the Joint Operation Center as part of the NYS Department
of Military and Naval Affairs response to the 9/11 attack. As a result
of her participation to the State following the attack on America on
9/11, she, along with countless other devoted Guard Members, was awarded
the NYS Defense of Liberty Medal.

Ms. Funt graduate from the Cardozo School of Law, where she received a
J. D. in 1989. While attending law school, she was awarded an Alexander
Fellowship, which enabled her to work full time for a semester in the
chambers of the Honorable Robert J. Ward, Unites States District Judge
of the Southern District of New York. She also was awarded a public
interest grant in the summer of 1988 to work as a judicial intern for
United States Judge Magistrate James C. Francis, IV, of the Southern
District of New York and was an editor of the Moot Court Board.

Ms. Funt graduated from the University of Cincinnati, where she majored
in Philosophy, was on the Dean's list and was a member of the Mortar
Board Honor Society. Prior to going to law school, Ms. Funt received a
Certificate in Cardiac Echocardiography at the Institute of Allied
Medical Professions, where she graduated first in her class and received
the Outstanding Achievement Award.

Ms. Funt is admitted to practice in New York State, and the U.S.
District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
