WPBA 2008 ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY A SUCCESS

The White Plains Bar Association held its annual Holiday Party on December 16, 2008
at Elmwood Country Club in White Plains, New York. Over sixty (60) members of the
association attended and had a unique opportunity to interact with Past Presidents,
members of the judiciary and other members of our Association in an informal setting.
Among those who attended were the Honorable Francis Nicolai, Administrative Judge
for the Ninth Judicial District, the Honorable Mark Dillon, Associate Justice of the Ninth
Judicial District, other state and local judges, the Honorable Terry Jane Ruderman
and the Honorable Thomas Scuccimarra of the New York State Court of Claims and
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore. We were also happy to visit with
Past Presidents the Honorable Les Levine, Joseph Harrington, Joan Salwyn, the
Honorable Joel Arnou, Gary Casella, the Honorable Terry Jane Ruderman, Joel
Sachs, the Honorable Linda Jamieson and the Honorable Al Naclerio.

President Sandra Forster welcomed all who attended and thanked them for their
continuing support of the Association and its efforts to provide quality legal
educational programs at its monthly luncheon meetings. Sandra highlighted the
Association's accomplishments during the first half of its year and set forth the
Association's and the programs it will provide in 2009. We thank our members who
attended the Holiday Party and invite all members to join us next year.

The Association also thanks our sponsors, Skyline Title and BNY Mellon. Jodie Fay of
Skyline Title spoke with many of the members and explained the offerings of Skyline
Title. BNY Mellon's representatives, Jean Connolly and Yvette Winn, also mingled
with our members and discussed the current status of the financial market. We
appreciate their sponsorship and encourage our members to consider using their
services.
