White Plains Bar Association's
2011 Past Presidents Day

WPBA recognized examples of examples of leadership from its history and looked
forward to its future at the annual Past Presidents’ Luncheon on June 15, 2011. Many of
WPBA’s presidents from the last four decades were in attendance to continue the sense
of collegiality that is the Association’s hallmark. The luncheon also included the election
of WPBA’s officers and board of directors for 2011-2012 year. Incoming President,
Deborah Scalise, advised the attendees that she looks forward to “putting more of White
Plains back into the White Plains Bar Association” with plans for events at the City Court
and other local facilities. Last, but hardly least, WPBA gave out its annual awards to three
exceptional students graduating from Pace Law School. The Bohn Vergari Public
Service Award was presented to Peter Harrison; the Isaac Rubin Clinical Award went to
Kathryn Sullivan; and, the Professionalism and Ethics Award was given to Robin Cram.
WPBA congratulates these future colleagues on their accomplishments. As the luncheon
marked the completion of WPBA’s events calendar for 2010-2011, the board of directors
wishes WPBA’s members a good summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall.
